Pacific Drive-In at Lumine EST Shinjuku is a Hawaiian cafe and diner on the eighth floor of the Lumine EST building, bringing the flavours of its original Shichirigahama location in Kamakura to central Tokyo. The restaurant is operated by the Transit group and models itself on a classic American drive-in, reimagined as a modern plate lunch concept within a department store setting. Its Kamakura original is well known for drawing long queues, and the Shinjuku branch extends that popularity to the capital. The menu centres on Hawaiian plate lunches including garlic shrimp, mochiko chicken and ginger pork, served with rice and macaroni salad in the traditional island style. Poke bowls, acai bowls, spam-and-egg pancakes and gourmet lemonades round out the offerings, with prices starting from approximately 1,000 yen. The shop also features a sub-store collaboration with Nakamura General Store, a renowned Hawaiian pastry bakery from Kyoto, adding exclusive baked goods to the lineup. The restaurant operates from 11:00 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:00, and offers both dine-in and takeaway service. The Lumine EST location is a three-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station and directly accessible via the station's east exit, making it a convenient option for a relaxed meal in the heart of the city.
