Kaldi Coffee Farm Lumine Shinjuku 1 is a branch of the popular coffee and imported-foods chain, located on the B2F of the Lumine Shinjuku 1 shopping building at 1-1-5 Nishi-Shinjuku, directly connected to JR Shinjuku Station. The parent company, Camel Coffee, runs more than 700 stores across Japan, and this outpost brings its market-style format of open sacks, sample roasts and shelves of world ingredients to one of the busiest station complexes in Tokyo. The location inside Lumine places it within easy reach of commuters, shoppers and travellers heading through the west exit. The store roasts and sells its own coffee beans alongside imported spices, herbs, olive oils, cheeses, wines and packaged foods from across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Customers can buy beans by weight, taste samples at the counter and pick up hard-to-find ingredients such as Moroccan ras el hanout, Italian dried pasta or Thai curry pastes. The mix of coffee and global groceries makes it a popular stop for home cooks as well as caffeine-seeking commuters. Opening hours run from 10:00 to 21:00 daily, in line with the host Lumine building, and the store is generally open every day of the year. The after-work period is the busiest time, so morning or early-afternoon visits offer the calmest browsing for a full grocery shop.
