su-san tabi
Low rating due to inconvenience. The boarding area for the luxury Pianissimo bus. Bus boarding, including regular sightseeing buses, is located outside the station, making the traffic flow too long and disastrous in bad weather.

Hato Bus Shinjuku sales office is the western Tokyo counter of Hato Bus, the venerable sightseeing bus company that has been guiding visitors around Tokyo and beyond since the 1950s. The office sits on the first floor of LUMINE EST Shinjuku, immediately adjacent to the JR Shinjuku Station East Exit, making it one of the most accessible tour departure points in the capital. Passengers on courses beginning with the letters H, P or W gather here before being escorted to the waiting coaches. The office handles ticket sales and passenger check-in for a wide programme of tours, including half-day Tokyo sightseeing routes, full-day excursions to Mount Fuji and Hakone, and seasonal itineraries that change throughout the year. Hato Bus is renowned for its knowledgeable guide service, and the Shinjuku departure point is a favoured alternative to the busier Tokyo Station hub for visitors staying in the western side of the city. Multi-language tours are available for international travellers. The sales office is open daily and is reached within a short walk of the East Exit of Shinjuku Station, which is served by the JR Yamanote, Chuo and Sobu lines as well as multiple subway connections. Tour participants are advised to arrive at least fifteen minutes before departure, as boarding is organised by the staff on the pavement outside.
