1977年に銀座で創業した老舗スパゲティ専門店。現在は新宿住友ビルの地下で営業し、ランチタイムには行列ができます。
Arudentei is a specialist spaghetti restaurant with roots dating back to 1977, when it first opened in Ginza before expanding to Shinjuku. The Shinjuku Sumitomo Building branch is the chain's third outlet, occupying the B1F of this prominent skyscraper in the Nishi-Shinjuku business district. The restaurant has built its reputation on an unchanging flavour profile that has remained consistent since its founding nearly five decades ago. The signature technique at Arudentei is the use of a custom-made rotary boiling pot that ensures each portion of pasta achieves perfect al dente texture. The menu centres on Italian-style spaghetti dishes, with the carbonara proving particularly popular among lunchtime visitors. The restaurant operates on a fully cashless payment system, accepting credit cards, transport IC cards, RakutenPay and PayPay, with an average spend of around 1,500 yen for both lunch and dinner. Located on the B1F of the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building at 2-6-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, the restaurant is a three-minute walk from Tochomae Station on the Toei Oedo Line and is directly connected to the building's underground concourse. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 21:30 and Sundays and holidays from 11:00 to 20:00, with the facility's closure days applying.
