Andersen is located in the bread section on the first basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku. The bread is displayed in a showcase, and you tell the staff which type you''''d like, and they fetch it for you. This is a more upscale bakery experience.

Andersen is a bakery on the corner opposite Starbucks in Shinjuku at 3 Chome-14-1, on the B1F of the building. The shop is part of Andersen Group, one of Japan's largest bakeries, founded in 1962 after Japanese baker Shunsuke Takaki fell in love with Danish pastry art in Copenhagen and brought the tradition home. The Shinjuku branch sits a short walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station. The bakery offers Danish-style bread fused with Japanese flavours, with a wide variety of baked goods including multigrain and multiseed loaves, braided white bread and French bread, all freshly baked throughout the day. Its central Shinjuku location makes it a handy stop for breakfast, a snack or lunch near Shinjuku Chuo Park. It suits commuters and visitors wanting quality, freshly baked bread. Drop by the corner store for a warm pastry or a multigrain loaf fresh from the oven. Andersen is a reliable, long-standing bakery stop in Shinjuku. Official: https://www.andersen-group.jp/english
