About This Event / イベントについて
The 38th Shinjuku Gyoen Mori no Takigi Noh is the garden's annual autumn Noh night. On September 24, 2026, a Noh stage is set in the landscape garden, with torchlight against the skyscrapers of Shinjuku. Enter only through the Okido Gate.
This year pairs Nomura Mansai (Izumi school) in the Kyogen Hino Sake with Kanze Tetsunojo and Kanze Atsuo (Kanze school) in Noh Funa Benkei, zengo-no-kae. Doors 17:30, curtain 18:30, with a short commentary and fire-lighting ceremony after curtain. The programme ends around 20:40. All seats are reserved: S ¥11,000, A ¥9,000, B ¥6,000.
Tickets are on sale via Ticket Pia (P-code 543-173), Confetti, and the garden information desks (A and B seats, cash only, 11:00–16:00 on open days). Preschool children are not admitted. If rain forces a move, the show transfers to Shinjuku Cultural Center Main Hall; the organiser announces the venue at 13:00 on the day via the Shinjuku CVB site and social accounts.

入場は大木戸門のみ。開園手続きに余裕を。

雨天会場は9月24日13時発表。発表後の荒天中止は払戻なし。

最寄りは新宿御苑前駅（丸ノ内線）と千駄ケ谷駅。
