Cosme Kitchen LUMINE Shinjuku 1 is a natural and organic beauty select shop on the 2F of LUMINE Shinjuku 1, relaunched in March 2025 with a refreshed interior designed to make browsing more comfortable. Operated by Mash Beauty Lab under the Mash Holdings group, the Cosme Kitchen chain was one of the first Japanese retailers to specialise in natural, organic and clean beauty products, and the Shinjuku 1 branch remains one of its flagship outlets. The store brings together an edited selection of natural and organic skincare, cosmetics, haircare and aromatherapy products from around the world, alongside herbal teas and natural household goods. Brands featured include both international organic labels and Japanese natural beauty names, and the shop is a reliable place to find niche lines such as MiMC that are not widely stocked elsewhere. The merchandising is deliberately gallery-like, reflecting the brand's kitchen-inspired name. LUMINE Shinjuku 1 is directly connected to the JR Shinjuku Station south exit at 1-1-5 Nishi-Shinjuku. Store hours follow the building at 8:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and Saturdays and 8:00 to 21:00 on Sundays and public holidays, with the beauty floor generally opening from late morning. Staff are trained in natural beauty product knowledge and can advise on ingredient suitability for sensitive skin.
