About This Event / イベントについて
Tokyo Curry Expo 2026 is the second edition of Bluesmobile's large curry festival at Okubo Park, next to Seibu-Shinjuku Station. The run stretches to 27 days (11 September – 7 October), more than double the 13-day 2025 debut, and opens the longer Shinjuku Gourmet Park Daisakusen project that continues with ramen, town-Chinese, and garlic festivals through 25 December.
The format is mix-and-match. Buy 200-yen food tickets and build a plate from European-style, Japanese, spice, South Indian, and West Indian curries, plus biryani, dosa, and "ra-kare" (ramen-shop soup recast as curry rice). Confirmed names include INDIA GATE, wacca, Patta Nakameguro, jagura Koenji, and Curry the Hardcore, among 48 stalls. Nine ambassadors, including curry researcher Ichijo Monko, appear on site.
Hours listed by EnjoyTokyo are 11:00–21:00. Admission is free; you pay only for food. The park is a 1–2 minute walk from Seibu-Shinjuku Station, about 8 minutes from JR Shinjuku. Organiser: Bluesmobile, co-hosted with Kabukicho Town Management.
