About This Event / イベントについて
Nikola Tesla — The Lonely Genius Edison Feared is a new original musical from Horipro and West End writers Nick Butcher (music and lyrics) and Roger Dipper (book), directed and translated by Keisuke Shimodaira. The Tokyo world premiere is at Kinokuniya Hall, 4F of Kinokuniya's Shinjuku main store, 6–29 September 2026 (Osaka follows 3–4 October).
Four performers — Naoto Kaiho, Songha, Megumi Hamada and Natsumi Kon — cover Tesla's life and the War of Currents in about 100 minutes with no interval. 6 September is a preview; a special curtain call is planned for 7 September 14:00. Standard reserved seats are ¥13,000; annotated restricted-view seats ¥12,500; under-20 Y-seats ¥2,000 via Horipro Stage only.
Tickets: Horipro Stage, Ticket Pia, eplus, Lawson Ticket and Kinokuniya. Preschool children are not admitted. Wheelchair visitors should call Horipro Ticket Center (03-3490-4949) at least a week ahead. Shinjuku-sanchome Station is the closest metro stop.
